Use the form below to make a submission to the Forum interactive exhibition.

Forum is an interactive online exhibition that invites the University of Michigan community to explore the history of political engagement through the arts up to our present moment. An outgrowth of ArtsEngine’s Photocracy Gallery, members of the University of Michigan community are invited to submit their own work, reflect on their political and artistic experiences, and collectively reflect on the overlapping terrain of art and activism in all its complexity. In the next phase of the project, University of Michigan community members are invited to submit original works of art that in some way reflect political themes or ideals.

University of Michigan students are invited to submit original work in any medium – prose, poetry, visual art, photography, music, etc. – that relates to political themes. There is no minimum or maximum length. Three submissions will be chosen by Forum curator Leonard Bopp as recipients of a $150 prize. To be considered, submit your work below as texts or as online links (such as Google Drive or YouTube.) Alternatively, send attachment directly to Winners will be announced at a public event to be held in mid-April. Contact Leonard Bopp at with any questions.
